Jasir Asani's future could be far from South Korea. The Albanian national team striker is increasingly attracting the attention of international clubs as the end of his contract with Guangzhou approaches.
According to sources from "Panorama Sport", there has been concrete interest from outside Asia for Yasir Asani. It is learned that representatives of clubs from the USA (MLS), Saudi Arabia and Turkey have expressed interest in the transfer of the Albanian national team striker. Currently, the Korean club and the player's manager are conducting initial negotiations for a possible agreement, as Asani's contract with Guangzhou ends at the end of this year.
Although the names of the interested clubs are not being kept secret, sources confirm that the talks are serious and it is expected that there will be concrete developments in the coming weeks. Asan's good form in South Korea recently and his experience with the Albanian national team have increased his value. Jasir Asan was very close to a move to Yokohama in Japan, but the transfer did not materialize. According to sources, the deal was broken at the last moment for financial reasons. The Albanian national team striker still remains part of Guangzhou, while interest in him continues from several international clubs.
Cup- Jasir Asani, has secured an important qualification in the semi-finals of the South Korean Cup, after a narrow 1-0 victory over Ulsan Hyundai, one of the strongest teams in the country, which this season also participated in the Club World Cup. The only goal of the match was scored in the 75th minute by Cho Sung-Guon, while Asani started the match as a starter and played the full 90 minutes, being one of the most active elements in the offensive phase of his team. As a reminder, Ulsan Hyundai was part of Group F in the Club World Cup, facing Borussia Dortmund, Fluminenses and Mamelodi Sundowns, but was eliminated in the group stage, failing to take any points in the three matches played.
