
Kosovo has once again confirmed itself in the sport of judo in the international arena. The "Dardans" have won four medals in the European Judo Championship that is taking place in Montpellier, France. One silver and three bronze medals is the balance of Kosovo in this championship, where it participated with six competitors.
The series of medals started yesterday, where Distria Krasniqi won the silver medal in the category up to 52 kilograms, where in the final she was defeated by the French Amandine Buçard.
On Friday, Nora Gjakova won the bronze medal, defeating the German Seija Ballhaus, where she won with "Ippon" in overtime. Two more bronze medals came today, where Laura Fazliu and Akil Gjakova shone.
" Achilles today contributed to gender equality! The Achilles medal concluded the most successful European so far with a total of four medals. Kosovo above all ...", wrote the coach of "Dardans", Driton Kuka on social networks. Kosovo has 23 medals in the European Championships for seniors.
