Partizan is conducting the preparatory phase in Antalya. The Reds will stay until January 10 in Turkey. Orges Shehi, the coach of "Bulls" spoke to "Partizani Channel" on the eve of the first friendly test with Volendam. He spoke as the coach of Partizan, where he previously contributed as a player. Among other things, he gave his opinion on the new formula and the fans.
You were part of the Partizan team. How do you see the return to the red family as a coach?
True, 15 years ago I was part of Partizan. From being a player, I am returning as a coach. After 14-15 years, it is first of all a pleasure to return, where I contributed 4 years to this club. Most importantly, I find the club completely changed, in terms of infrastructure, trophies, ambitions and people. It is a completely changed club from what I left. What I said a little while ago, it's a pleasure to be part of this club.
What would you like to change to achieve your seasonal goals? What do you think they are?
Talking about objectives when you are part of a club like Partizan, seems a bit excessive. Objectives are always present and are always concrete. The objectives are to reach the top in Albanian football, such as trophies, but also to take one more step in Europe. The objectives are clear, every new coach tries to change a little in the way the players behave on the field, in the way they play. So we hope these days will be enough for us or be days to express or implement what we have in our heads, I convey to the players. Always to achieve the objectives.
The new formula, what do you think?
It is known that this is a new formula, which has been established since the beginning of the championship. There is no need for comment, it is a formula that after 36 weeks requires the most important stage of the championship, such as "Final 4". We hope to do our best to always reach the top of the leaderboard the 36 weeks that are normally played. Then the Final 4 to perform and to be as fresh as possible, as well as possible because it is known that the trophy is decided by this "Final 4".
Partisan Channel...?
Not only me, everyone thinks it's new in Albanian football. That's one of the good things a club has. It has its own official channel, it conveys news from its own channel, everything is related to the club. So it is a good and professional thing, to be appreciated because it is a creation for a club, as all professional clubs in Europe and the world have.
Partisan fan...?
For the fans, we make a mistake by talking with our mouths, we will show it with our actions on the field. It leaves us with a duty because to manage or play for Partizan, like the players and us, is a great responsibility. It is a club that has many trophies in its showcase or archive. We only have to work, to sweat, to be disciplined, so that when people come to the stadium, Partizan has many fans, they are always satisfied with the performance of the team. But also with the idea in mind that the team did their best today. We still have a lot of work to do to satisfy the fans because it is known that we have great support and they are an important part of the club.
