The English press revealed this Wednesday that Arne Slot, the coach of Feyenoord, the last winner of the Dutch Cup, is the most serious candidate to take Jyrgen Klop's place at the end of the season at the Liverpool team.
The first contacts have already been made and the 45-year-old coach welcomes a move to the Reds. The English club would have to compensate Feyenoord with around 10 million euros, as Slot has a contract until 2026, but the contract does not include a break clause.
We remind you that Ruben Amorim was also a candidate for this position, but interest in the coach of Sporting Lisbon ended up fading. Jurgen Klopp will leave Liverpool at the end of the season to take a break from his career.
