Migjen Basha has been appointed coach of the first team of Luzana, a team that plays in the Swiss Super League. The decision was announced by the club itself, which has entrusted the management of the team to a technical duo, where Markus Neumayer will also be alongside the former midfielder of the Albanian national team.
According to the official announcement, Basha and Neumajer will lead the team until the end of the current season. Luzana is in a difficult situation, risking relegation from the elite, while there are still five weeks left to play in the championship.
For Migje Basha, this is a return to a more active role within the club, having previously been part of the Luzana "family" in the role of talent manager. Meanwhile, Markus Neumayer comes to this position after experience as an assistant coach at the Basel team.
Their appointment comes at a crucial moment for the fate of the season, where every point will be essential for survival in the Super League.
Migjen Basha is a well-known name, having left Switzerland's youth ranks to represent Albania. He also played for the red and black team at the 2016 European Championship.

" To finish the season, the first team will be led by a duo consisting of Markus Neumayr and Migjen Basha, both members of the first team coaching staff.
Markus Neumayr, who joined the club last summer from FC Basel, served as assistant coach this season.
Migjen Basha, a former Albanian national team player born in Lausanne, joined the club in 2022 and currently holds the position of Talent Manager .
