PSG is very close to renewing the long-term contract with coach Luis Enrique, following the positive results he has achieved at the helm of the Parisian team over the last two seasons.
The Spanish coach took over at PSG in July 2023, replacing Frenchman Christophe Galtier. Since his arrival, the team has won several trophies and maintained competitiveness in all competitions.
According to Italian journalist Fabrcio Romano, negotiations between the club and the coach have entered the final phase, while the agreement to renew the contract is expected to be formalized in the coming days.
It is reported that the official announcement could be made immediately after the Champions League final.
During his time on the PSG bench, Luis Enrique has led the team in 173 matches, recording 121 wins, 27 draws and 25 losses.
This season, PSG also secured qualification for the Champions League final for the second consecutive year, after eliminating Bayern Munich with an aggregate score of 6-5.
Meanwhile, in the French championship, the Parisian team won the title for the 2025-2026 season, securing its fifth consecutive trophy and fourteenth in history, an absolute record in French football.
Now, PSG's attention is focused on the big Champions League final against Arsenal, which will take place on May 30 at the Puskás Aréna.
