May 19 is considered one of the most important dates in modern Turkish history. This day is associated with Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, the founder of the Republic of Turkey, who arrived in the city of Samsun on May 19, 1919, marking the start of the country's War of Independence.
Due to its symbolism, Ataturk dedicated this date to Turkish youth, and every year it is commemorated with activities and events throughout the country.
On the eve of the celebrations, the Trabzonspor team gathered for a training session, where the players took a joint photo in front of the Turkish flag. Among them was the Albanian national team striker, Ernest Muçi.
The Albanian footballer is having one of the most positive seasons of his career, gaining an important role in the Turkish team and becoming one of Trabzonspor's most prominent players during this season.
