Manchester United have revealed their reported revenue for last season and it is a record figure.

The Red Devils were not in the Champions League in the 2024-2025 season and finished in 15th place in the Premier League, their worst position in 51 years.

Now, the club has published their financial reports which have surprised many due to the amount of money received.

Firstly, United saw a slight increase in revenue of 0.7 per cent to £666.5 million (around €766 million), with accounts for the year ending 30 June 2025 showing their operating loss fell from £69.3 million to £18.4 million compared to the previous 12 months.

Overall losses then fell from £113.2 million to £33 million, as co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe oversaw massive changes, which included cutting many jobs deemed redundant.

The British billionaire even warned that United would have been "bankrupt by Christmas" if they hadn't made "really tough decisions" at the time.

An overall loss of just £33 million represents a 70.8% decrease compared to last year, when the figure was £113.2 million.

United also spent £36.6m on "extraordinary items", which relate to the payment of former manager Erik ten Hag and his team before the arrival of manager Ruben Amorim in the summer.

The Independent reports that United expect the next financial year to bring in revenue of £640m to £660m, despite not participating in European competitions for the first time since the 2014-2015 season.
