The Albanian national team will begin training on Monday to begin preparations for the two friendly matches in September against Azerbaijan. Coach Ervin Bulku has already announced the list with the names of 23 players invited for these two important tests, with the team preparing for the European qualifiers of this age group that take place in November.
The red and black coach will have at his disposal all the most prominent elements of this age group, as 14 players come from Albanian clubs and 9 of them are active in foreign clubs. Many of them are footballers who promise a lot in the future to move to the National U-21 team or the National A. The team will gather in Tirana on September 4, while training will take place at the Football House.
The first match of the U-19 National Team led by coach Ervin Bulku is scheduled to be played at the 'Elbasan Arena' stadium, on September 9 starting at 15:30, while the second match is scheduled to be played two days later, on September 11 in the 'House of Football' at 16:30.
These friendlies against Azerbaijan are another good opportunity to test the team even better on the eve of the engagements in the European qualifiers, where they go with the aim of going to the 'Elite Round' and then to the final stage.
The Reds have played three friendly matches this year, two against Kosovo, where they secured a victory and a draw, while in August they were defeated by the champions of Italy. The U-19 national team will have two more friendlies in October, with rivals that remain to be determined, while in November the red and blacks will be involved in the 2023-2024 European qualifiers for this age group.
The UEFA draw has positioned the Albanian U-19 National Team in Group 13, together with Ireland, Belgium and Slovenia, while the matches of this group will take place in our country on November 15, 18 and 21, 2023.
