
Wrestling legend Petrit Hajdari passed away yesterday. The former athlete from Tirana closed his eyes at the age of 60, leaving Albanian sports in mourning.
We remember that Hajdari has been one of the most popular names in the sport of wrestling in our country, as he has also been declared champion as an athlete of Tirana.
In a post on his official Facebook profile, the former head of KOKSH, Viron Bezhani bids farewell to the former champion of Tirana.
" Rest in peace my friend Petrit Hajdari! Today I have to say goodbye to Dardha e Korça, the outstanding wrestler, my friend, athlete and good colleague Petri Hajdari. A great loss for the entire wrestling community, not only that of Tirana but also for all Albanian wrestling for what this athlete has given to this sport. My respect and gratitude go to the memory of this opportunity not only for what it has given but also for what it has transmitted to the younger generations. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for everything you have given to this sport, being convinced that for this great contribution you will never be forgotten.
