
The well-known coach from Skrapari, Albert Spahiu, has passed away at the age of 62. Spahiu had a great contribution to the football of the city of Skrapar, where he played as a football player for 14 seasons.
He was also the coach of his hometown team for more than two decades.
The president of the Albanian Football Federation, Armand Duka, also reacted to this, who wrote on his profile that he was very saddened by the news. According to him, Spahiu was a man of great value for the community of Skrapar and who has made contributions over the years, especially for football in this city.
"The news about the death of Skrapar's coach, Albert Spahiu, made me very sad. Spahiu led the Skrapar team for more than two decades, with which he was very close, as he spent most of his career there as a footballer from 1978 to 1992, being captain for 6 seasons.
A man of great value to the community of Skrapar and who has made contributions over the years, especially to football in this city.
I want to convey my most sincere condolences, also on behalf of the AFL, to the Spahiu family, his relatives and friends. His memory will remain unforgettable!", writes Duka.
