The Albanian national team was defeated by a minimum score of 0-1 by Israel in a friendly match held at the "Air Albania" stadium.
A day after the match, goalkeeper Alen Sherri reacted through a post on social media, where he shared the emotions of his first appearance as a starter with the red and black jersey.
Sherri, who recorded his second match with the national team, gained the trust of the technical staff from the first minute and developed a positive performance in the Albanian goal.
Through a message on Instagram, the red-and-black guard described this as a special moment in his sports career.
" Yesterday I had the honor and pride to wear the Albanian National Team jersey for the first time as a starter. A moment I will never forget. Thank you all for the support !", wrote Sherri.
