It's neither Lautaro Martinez nor Leao, CIES reveals the most valuable

Although Osmane Dembele dominated the scene in 2025, winning the Ballon d'Or, The Best FIFA and Globe Soccer Awards, the Frenchman is not currently the most valuable player on the market.

This has been determined by the latest study published by the CIES Football Observatory, which takes into account age, appearance, potential and statistical data.

At the top of the list is Barcelona talent Lamin Jamal, only 18 years old, valued at a staggering 343.1 million euros.

An impressive jump considering that twelve months ago, his value was €180.3 million, leaving him only fourth. This dizzying rise confirms his status as an absolute gem in world football.

He is followed by Erling Haaland, in second place with a valuation of 255.1 million euros: the Norwegian from Manchester City continues to offer impressive figures and consistency.

Third place goes to Kylian Mbappe, currently at Real Madrid, with an estimated value of €201.3 million. His advanced age affects his ranking, despite his consistent high-level performances.

On the other hand, Jude Bellingham falls from the top of the ranking to fourth in just one year, with his value having fallen by almost €100 million. The top spots are completed by Michael Oliseh, Florian Urich and a strong PSG presence with Desiree Due and Joao Neves.

In Serie A, Juventus' Kenan Yildiz leads the rankings, 14th with a value of 121 million euros. Behind him are Lautaro Martinez (Inter, 19th with 109 million euros), Rasmus Hojlund (Napoli, 92.8 million), Francesco Pio Esposito (Inter, 75 million) and Alessandro Bastoni (Inter, 62 million).
