The Shkodra Regional Football Association held the General Electoral Assembly for 2026 with the participation of 27 delegates.
Lazer Matija was unanimously re-elected as the president of the association for a new four-year term. In addition to the internal elections, the members of the association also reviewed the proposals for the leadership of the Albanian Football Federation.
By unanimous vote, the assembly decided to officially propose Armand Duka as a candidate for the position of President of the Albanian Football Association. This proposal follows the association's commitment to supporting the continuity of current projects at the national level.
Another important decision of the assembly was the proposal for the members of the Executive Committee of the Albanian Football Association. For this position, the delegates voted in favor of the journalist and host of the show "Opinion", Blendi Fevziu. Fevziu's involvement in this process reflects the association's aim for new arrivals in the football management structures.
During the proceedings, the delegates who will represent the Shkodra region at the General Assembly of the Albanian Football Association were also determined. In addition to the nomination proposals, the activity report, financial statements and budget for 2026 were approved. The process ended with the leadership's commitment to transparency and cooperation with the clubs in the region.
