After a serious illness, the former handball player, karate player and Kosovar athlete, Shqipe Bajçnica Brestovci, passed away.
It was the family members who announced the death of Shqipa, who was a leader in the Olympic Committee of Kosovo in recent years and a professor at the University of Pristina.
KOK President, Ismet Krasniqi, through a message, has consoled the family members and the sports community for the death of Bajçinca-Brestovci.
Shqipe Bajçnica Brestovci has held very important positions in the Kosovo Handball Federation. Recently, she was the president of the Association of Handball Judges and a member of the FHK Board. She was also a delegate of the European Handball Federation, former commissioner of FHK competitions.
He was actively involved in karate, athletics and handball. In the Faculty of Physical Culture of the University of Pristina, she has been a lecturer for two and a half decades.
