There are no miracles in "Fadil Vokrri". Kosovo leaves the World Cup play-offs with their heads held high, having made a dignified appearance both in the group stage, where they came in second place behind Switzerland, and in the play-off stage, where just a few days ago they defeated Slovakia at home with a score of 3-4.
There are no miracles in “Fadil Vokrri”. Kosovo is defeated by Turkey with the minimum score of 0-1 and says goodbye to the World Cup. The one who decided the qualification of the Balkan team to the 2026 World Cup was Aturkollu with the goal scored in the 53rd minute. Kosovo protested for offside, but the English referee considered Turkey's goal regular.
In the 81st minute, Muslija had a chance to equalize for the Dardanians, but his shot went wide of the goalpost.
Kosovo had several scoring chances in the final minutes, but failed to convert them. The team led by German Franco Foda claimed a penalty in the 85th minute, but the English referee continued the game.
