Dani Ceballos is set to retire from playing for Real Madrid after a bitter falling out with coach Alvaro Arbeloa. The relationship between the two sides is reportedly "broken" with both expected to leave the club at the end of the season.

According to reports from Spanish media outlet Marca, Arbeloa has dismissed Sebajos from the team before the regular season has even ended. Sources quoted by the outlet claim that the coach has said he will "never look at" the 29-year-old midfielder again.

Sebajos has a contract with Real Madrid until June 2027, but is currently not considered part of the club's plans. Under these circumstances, his departure during the summer transfer window is seen as inevitable.
