The British tabloid TheSun has published an article this Tuesday that lists all the scandals for which the President of the Spanish Women's Football Federation, Luis Rubiales, is accused or connected.
Scandals seem to have surrounded Rubiales even before his infamous kiss on the lips with striker Jenni Hermosa at the World Cup lifting ceremony.
Luis Rubiales has previously been accused of "orgies" in the group which were allegedly paid for with business funds, but also of inappropriate language towards employees.
He has been accused by his uncle, who is chief of staff at the FA headquarters in Madrid, saying Rubiales had organized a private party with eight or 10 young women and forced him to pay for it with association funds. .
The women allegedly attended the orgy under the pretense that it was a work event, but their fees were paid by the soccer federation, according to Rubiales' uncle.
Rubiales always insisted that there was no party and that the event was actually for work purposes, saying he had a barbecue with friends.
Playing as a defender for Spanish sides Mallorca B, Xerez and Levate, he first grabbed headlines in the late 2000s when he protested alongside his teammates over unpaid wages.
In 2010, after retiring from the game, he became president of the Spanish Footballers' Association union.
He took up his current position as head of the Spanish FA in 2017, and now 6 years later he has been called to resign after heavy criticism for the scandal after the Spain-England final.
