After the failure of the operation with Farruk, another name appears on the scene for the attack at Partizan.
Italian media outlet “La Casa di C” reveals that Partizan is in negotiations with striker Ismet Sinani. The 26-year-old was part of Klodiense in the Italian Serie C last season, but despite the striker’s positive performances, the team fell one category lower. This fact pushes the 26-year-old to look for other alternatives and Partizan seems to be the next stop.
Behind the Scenes
Given the knowledge of the red leaders in the Italian market, part of the attention for the approaches has shifted precisely here and Serie C seems to be an achievable "target" due to the similar level that the two championships have. But the fact that our teams play in European competitions and the biggest advertisement seems to be a great impetus for Sinan, to try playing in Albania for the first time. In the coming days, the red club is expected to make more concrete moves with the striker.
Sinani is a footballer originally from Kosovo, but born and raised in Italy. He started his professional football career with Milan's youth academy, one of the biggest academies in Italy. With the Rossoneri he played up to the U-19 age group, before starting his adventure in Serie D and Serie C. He has played with Juve Stabia, Sicula Leonzio, Union Giorgio, Levico Terme, Legnano and most recently Clodiense, with whom his contract expires in June. In 217 professional matches, Sinani has scored 46 goals and provided 9 assists. In his last season with Clodiense, he took to the field 36 times and recorded 5 goals and 2 assists. The best period in his career, Sinani has the 2021-2022 season with Levico Terme in Serie D, where he scored 14 goals in 29 matches. As for the national teams, he has played with Albania U-17 and U-19, as well as Kosovo U-19.
