After the heavy fine, UEFA warns Jagiellonia fans: We will close the stadium if

The match between Polish side Jagiellonia and Dynamo in the Conference League play-offs will be very special in terms of fan behavior in the stadium. The Polish club has been hit with heavy fines by UEFA and risks having its stadium closed if its racist supporters repeat themselves against Dynamo.

UEFA decided to punish Jagiellonian for racist chants in the home match against Novi Pazar on July 31. The Polish club was fined 10,000 euros and ordered the partial closure of some sections of the stadium for the upcoming match it would play as a host due to racist and discriminatory behavior and chants by fans with songs and chants of “Kosovo is Serbia” but also with a religious background. The punishment in question was suspended, as it would be applied if such behavior were repeated in the next two years.

The club was also fined 15,000 euros after fans displayed a slogan reading "Kosovo is Serbia," a message that was "not suitable for sporting activities," according to UEFA.

Therefore, if the fans repeat this behavior in the match against Dinamo, the decision to close the stadium will come into effect, partially or even completely if the situation escalates. Therefore, the Jagiellonian club is on high alert and has been warning fans for days not to repeat such events on Thursday, as they risk having to watch the matches on TV if they qualify for the Conference League groups.
