"After the punches I threw, I thought...", former national team

Orges Shehi left the Albanian championship and for the first time, is trying out an experience as a coach in Kosovo, where he has taken charge of the Balkans.

Shehi has had extraordinary success in Albania, winning everything as a coach, but even more so as a player, even playing in the Europa League. As for the national team, Shehi was there when Albania played the famous match against Serbia in Belgrade, interrupted by drones and fan riots.

In an interview with "Panorama Sport", the former national team goalkeeper made a comparison between the Superiore and Kosovo, while the national team also stopped.

Professor, second season in Kosovo. How are things going?

It's true that I've been in Kosovo for almost 9 months. Half of the last season and this new season that has started, things are generally going well and we continue to work for continuity.

You were in Belgrade 11 years ago. How do you remember that night?

Yes, of course, every time October comes we remember Belgrade even though the years go by. To be honest, they are memories that bring an emotion that can hardly be forgotten. After the punches I threw that evening in Belgrade, I thought that UEFA would ban me from football forever. There I was thinking about what I would do after football.
