Partizani Football Club has officially announced the dismissal of coach Mladen Milinković and his two assistants, just six weeks into the season. The decision comes after an internal review of the team's performances and results, which have not met expectations.
In the official statement, the club emphasizes that "after an analysis of the team's performances and results, it has been decided to terminate cooperation with coach Milinković and his technical staff."
The dismissal of the Serbian coach was expected, after a heavy 3-0 defeat in the Tirana derby, where Partizan was completely dominated by the white and blue. This result has increased the pressure on the club's management, while the team has recorded a disappointing start to the season, far from the expectations of the "red" fans.
Until a new coach is appointed, the team's interim leadership is expected to be taken over by one of the current technical staff members. In the meantime, Partizan's management is looking for a new name for the bench to bring the team back into contention for the championship lead.
