The U-19 national football team begins training today for two friendly matches against their peers from Ireland.
Coach Julian Ahmataj has selected 21 players for these two matches, which will take place on October 10 and 12, at 11:00. Initially, the matches were planned to be played at the “Roza Haxhiu” stadium in Lushnja, but by agreement between the parties it was decided that the match on October 10 will be played at the “House of Football” in Tirana, while the match on October 12 will be played at the Luz stadium.
These friendlies will serve as the final test for the Rossoneri before the start of the U-19 European Championship qualifiers, which will be played next month. It is noteworthy that coach Ahmataj has invited only four players from the domestic championship.
