Liverpool have announced the appointment of Dutch coach Arne Slot, who will leave Feyenoord to replace Jurgen Klopp at Anfield in early June.
"Liverpool Football Club can announce that Arne Slott has agreed a deal to become the club's new manager, officially taking up the position on 1 June 2024, subject to a work permit. The 45-year-old will join the Reds from Feyenoord ahead of the 2024-25 season after an agreement was reached with the Eredivisie club for his services," a statement read.

Slot has impressed in his homeland, leading Feyenoord to the Eredivisie title last season and winning the domestic cup with them this season.
He also took them to the Conference League final in 2022. His appointment was confirmed during Klopp's farewell on Sunday, when the German invoked Slot's name and called on fans at Anfield to get behind their new manager. .
