Fernando Santos left the management of Poland a few days after the 2-0 loss in Tirana that almost ended the hopes of the Poles for qualifying for "EURO 2024" through the group stage. In Poland, the search for a new coach has started immediately and one of the names that has been discussed is that of Xhani De Biazi.
Polish media reports that his name has been suggested to Federation leaders as an option, given that he has been a candidate for Poland's bench in the past. In fact, De Biazi was very close to appointing the coach of this national team and had an accord with Zbigi Boniek, when the latter made a comeback and chose Paulo Souza instead of the Italian technician, who then signed for Azerbaijan.
