Portugal U-17 has been declared world champion, defeating Austria 1-0 in the final in 'Al Rayyan'.
The only goal of the match was scored by Anisio Cabral, Benfica U-19 striker, who finished the tournament with 7 goals, just one less than Austrian Johannes Moser.
This is the first title in this category for Portugal, which succeeds Germany as the previous champions.
A respectable result for Italy, which defeated Brazil on penalties after the match had finished 0-0 in normal time, thus securing third place.
From the next edition, the tournament format will change: from a biennial tournament to an annual tournament.
This means that the World Cup will take place next year, always in November and again in Qatar.
