A 17-year-old referee was attacked during the Francica-Girifalco match, played on November 23 in Francica (Vibo Valentia), a Second Category Group D championship match.
The young referee, after taking disciplinary action, was hit several times by a local footballer who had been involved in a series of violent behaviors.
The Vibo Valentia Police Chief, following an investigation carried out by the Anti-Crime Division, issued a ban on participation in sporting events (DASPO) against the player for the maximum duration permitted by law, in cases of non-recidivism, of five years.
