
The coach of the Kosovo national team, Franko Foda, has today announced the list of players invited for the two decisive matches of September, within the framework of Group B qualifying for the 2026 World Cup. The "Dardans" will initially travel to Switzerland on September 5, while three days later they will host the Swedish national team in Pristina.
In the published list, the German coach has included 26 players, relying on the experience of 'senators' such as Vedat Muriqi, Edon Zhegrova, Amir Rrahmani, Valon Berisha and Mërgim Vojvoda.
In addition to them, there are also new and promising names, including Leon Avdullahu, Veldin Hoxha, Dion Gallapeni, Florian Haxha and Baton Zabërgja, who are expected to bring freshness and energy to the Kosovo national team.
On the reserve list, Foda also has other talented footballers, including Faton Maloku, Leard Sadriu, Ron Raqi, Andi Hoti, Donat Rrudhani, Kreshnik Hajrizi, Ismet Lushaku, Behar Neziri, Kreshnik Krasniqi, Lirjon Abdullahu, Bledian Krasniqi and Rilind Nivokazi. They will be ready in case of need.
