Real Madrid are preparing for a summer of major changes to their squad, despite mathematically still being in contention for the title. The club's realistic chances of winning the league are considered very slim, while their elimination from the UEFA Champions League has increased pressure for restructuring.
According to a report by "OK Diario", the club's management have decided to review almost the entire group of players. Only seven players are considered untouchable and out of any transfer discussions during the summer transfer window.
This list includes goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois, defender Eder Militao, midfielders Aurelien Chaumen, Fede Valverde and Jude Bellingham, as well as forwards Vinicius Junior and Kylian Mbappe.
Meanwhile, the rest of the squad is being evaluated and could be involved in potential moves in the market. It is noteworthy that even players with weight or recent arrivals are not considered untouchable. Among them are Arda Gyler, as well as names that arrived last summer such as Dan Huijsen, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Alvaro Carreras.
However, these players are not necessarily reported to be certain of a safe departure, but the lack of "untouchable" status leaves the possibility open for different decisions by the club.
