Arbër Hoxha is expected to be one of the most talked about names in the summer transfer window at Dinamo Zagreb. The Albanian national team striker is increasingly linked with a move away from the Croatian champions, while Polish club Udzju Lodz has returned to the scene.
The situation becomes even more interesting due to statements made just a few weeks ago by Udziewczy Lodz spokesman Jakub Diktinski. He had categorically denied the existence of negotiations for Hoxha, describing the news as another unfounded rumor.
" Another rumor has surfaced, with a tone very similar to some previous ones, so I want to inform you that Widge is not in talks to sign Arber Hoxha ," Diktinski declared three weeks ago.
However, recent developments show a different reality. The approach of Mislav Orsic to Dinamo Zagreb has increased the likelihood that Hoxha will leave the Croatian team this summer.
A year ago, Russian club Akron Togliatti had offered around 1.5 million euros for the player's card, while the striker would also receive a higher salary. However, Dinamo president Zvonimir Boban rejected the offer, considering it insufficient.
According to reports, Widzew Lodz is now ready to invest between 4 and 5 million euros for the transfer of the Albanian. In addition to the transfer fee, Hoxha could benefit from a contract worth around 1 million euros per season, double the current salary he receives in Croatia, which is estimated at around 500 thousand euros per year.
The summer transfer window is expected to be decisive for the 26-year-old's future. If negotiations materialize, the transfer would be a mutual benefit for the player, the buying club and Dinamo Zagreb.
