The second edition of the new Champions League format ended with the triumph of Paris Saint-Germain, who won the trophy after a dramatic final in Budapest against Arsenal.
After a 1-1 draw in regular and extra time, the French proved more accurate from the penalty spot, securing their second consecutive trophy in the most prestigious European club competition.
In addition to sporting success, PSG is also the club with the highest income from the Champions League for the 2025/26 season.
According to estimates published after the end of the tournament, the French champions collected over 145 million euros in UEFA bonuses.
Arsenal ranks second with around 142 million euros, while the podium is completed by Bayern Munich with more than 127 million euros.
Atletico Madrid, Barcelona, Liverpool and Real Madrid also climbed above the 100 million euro threshold.
The new Champions League format, which includes a single group of 36 teams and at least eight matches for each club in the first phase, has significantly increased the competition's revenue.
UEFA distributed around 2.5 billion euros this season, a higher figure compared to the previous three-year cycle.
Each participating club initially received a participation bonus of 18.62 million euros, while additional rewards were awarded based on results, ranking in the first phase and progress in the knockout stages.
The calculation also included income from the so-called "value pillar", which combines television rights and the clubs' historical coefficient.
As for the Italian teams ranked below the top 10, Inter earned around 71 million euros, Atalanta 70 million euros and Juventus 64 million euros, while Napoli collected just over 48 million euros.
