
Rubin Kazan has officially signed Albanian midfielder Nazmi Gripshi. The 28-year-old has reached an agreement with the Russian club, signing a contract that will keep him with the Russian team until 2029.
According to the information made public, Gripsh's transfer from the Kazakh club Astana was made for the sum of 500 thousand euros. With this move, the Albanian midfielder starts a new stage in the Russian championship, where he will join his compatriot, the striker of the Albanian national team, Mirlind Daku, who is part of Rubin Kazan.
Gripshi is expected to be ready for his debut on February 28, in the Russian championship match against Dinamo Makhachkala. There is still no official confirmation of his inclusion in the lineup, but the recent transfer increases the likelihood that he will be available to the technical staff.

Nazmi Gripshi was part of Astana in Kazakhstan before this transfer. He was considered one of the innovations of the Albanian national team coach, Silvinjo, for 2025, attracting attention with his performances.
In his career, Gripshi played for Teuta, Skënderbeu and Balkan. With the team from Kosovo, under the leadership of coach Ilir Daja, he was declared champion, recording one of the most important successes of his career.
