The Albanian national team will be led by Italian coach Rolando Maran until 2028. The agreement was made official by the president of the Albanian Football Federation, Armand Duka, during the press conference where the new coach of the Rossoneri was also introduced, following the departure of Silvinjo.
Along with Mara, part of Albania's technical staff will also be Kristian Maraner, who will hold the role of assistant. The cooperation between them is long and consolidated, as Maraner has been part of every adventure of the Italian coach in Italian football.
The pair have worked together in teams such as Varese, Catania, Cagliari, Genoa, Pisa and most recently Brescia, creating a close professional relationship over the years.
Now, Albania becomes the next challenge for Mara and his staff, while expectations are high for the impact this duo can bring to the national team's results, especially in the upcoming Nations League matches.
