March 27, 2023 remains a special date for Jasir Asani, who debuted with the Albanian National Team jersey at the age of 28. On the red and black bench was Sylvinho, the coach who first gave him confidence and recruited him to the national team.
After Sylvinho's departure from Albania's management, Asani was among the first footballers to react publicly, thanking the Brazilian coach for the support and trust he had given.
"Thank you mister for everything. We have had a very beautiful and long journey together, with many moments that I will never forget. I am very grateful for the trust and opportunity you gave me to represent the National Team. I will be grateful to you for the rest of my life. Continued success, mister," Asani wrote on social media.
The striker's reaction comes on the day he celebrates his 31st birthday, while the news of Sylvinho's departure from the national team coincided with his birthday.
Meanwhile, Asani is expected to be transferred to Getafe CF in La Liga during the summer transfer window.
