Roma took full advantage of Napoli's defeat and managed to take the lead in Serie A after defeating Udinese 2-0.
The team led by Gian Piero Gasperini had control of the match throughout, but only unlocked the result in the 42nd minute thanks to a penalty awarded after a handball by Kamara and correctly executed by Pellegrini. To be noted in this first half is also a Cristante post that in this way denied the goal celebration.
In the second half, it was Celik who sealed the victory for the Yellows, scoring the second goal after a combination with Mancini. For Udinese, it is worth mentioning a goal by Atta, but the score remained 2-0 for Roma, for which the only negative note is Dovbyk's hip injury in the first half.
After this victory, Roma moves to 24 points, while Udinese remains with 15 points after 11 weeks of the championship.
