Kukësi has qualified for the semi-final stage of the Albanian Cup after defeating Partizan after penalty kicks.
The 90 minutes were not enough, as Kukësi won by a minimum of 0-1, just like Partizan who had won the first challenge in Kukës with a minimum score of 1-0, thanks to Taipi's goal.
In Tirana, the first half started very well for the "Northeasterners", with Kukës dictating the pace, while he was rewarded in the 22nd minute, thanks to Hasaj's spectacular goal.
The goal changed the mood of Partizan, who tried to react, with Taipi in the 32nd minute and Cara, 2 minutes later, looking for the equalizer, but without success.
In the second half, both teams created their own chances, while in the 69th minute, Mba went close to the goal, but did not manage to pass the goalkeeper Tafas.
Two minutes later, Taipi was close to the goal, but the challenger did not find the correct coordinates of the goal of the "northeasters", with the ball also touching the crossbar.
As the minutes passed, Kukësi thought only about the defense, but Partizan suffered from a lack of accuracy in front of the goal and the match went to extra time.
In the 93rd minute, Tafas became the hero for the "north-easterners", while Orge Shehi's trustees regularly visited Tafa's goal in the following minutes as well.
However, in the end nothing changed and extra time did not bring any change in the result, as everything was decided after the penalty shootout, where Kukësi won 3-5.
Tafas was the hero for Kukës, with the keeper stopping Atanaskoski, who was the only one to make a mistake, and then the keeper plucked up the courage to score from the penalty spot.
Mikulič, Cara and Murataj scored for the capital city, while Zogos, Tafas, Lleshi, Mingo and Salami were all accurate, leading Kukës to the semi-finals, in a very difficult season in the championship.
