Samuel Eto has resigned as president of the Cameroon Football Federation. An official statement has been issued on this, explaining the choice of the former striker, but at the same time specifying that the Executive Committee has rejected it.
“ The President of the Cameroon Football Federation, Mr. Eto'o Fils Samuel, has submitted his resignation to the members of the federal executive body, inviting them to do the same with all their soul and conscience.
At the end of the debate and subsequent discussion, the members of the Executive Committee decided to continue their current mandate and then unanimously rejected the resignation of the president of the Cameroon Football Federation.
As a committee we renew all our faith in him to continue with the same impetus the work of reconstruction and development of Cameroonian football, from the base to the top, as he predicted in his project evaluated during the General Electoral Assembly of December 11 ".
