The Basic Prosecutor's Office of Pristina has dismissed the criminal complaint against the president of the Football Federation of Kosovo (FFK), Agim Ademi, suspected of the criminal offenses of "Tax Evasion" and "Abuse of Trust". This was announced by the spokesperson of this prosecution, Laureta Ulaj.
The Regional Unit for the Investigation of Economic Crimes and Corruption in Prishtina had filed a criminal complaint against Adem under the suspicion that he had committed the criminal offenses of "Tax Evasion" and "Abuse of Trust".
However, the prosecutor of the case, Ali Hajdini, has issued a decision to drop this criminal report on the grounds that after analyzing the nature, circumstances of the case and the character of the criminal offense, the case should be resolved through the temporary suspension of the procedure.
" The prosecutor has reviewed and analyzed the documents of the case as a whole and taking into account the nature, circumstances and character of the criminal offense and the perpetrators and the promise of the suspects that they know how to fulfill their obligations, he has assessed that the case meets the conditions to be resolved through Alternative Procedure, namely the Temporary Suspension of the Procedure in the sense of Article 227 of the Criminal Procedure Code ", it is stated in the decision to drop the criminal complaint.
According to this ruling, these people with the initials MC, AD, IA and AN were also suspected of tax evasion and misuse of trust.
Otherwise, on March 23, 2023, the measure of house arrest of 30 days was assigned to Adem following the request of the Basic Prosecutor's Office in Pristina for the assignment of this measure.
We remind you that on March 15, 2023, the Basic Court in Pristina announced an acquittal against Agim Ademi and Muharrem Rama, related to the charge of coercion.
