Burnley manager Scott Parker spoke today ahead of their clash with Chelsea. The Englishman gave an update on Armando Broja's condition. The international striker was injured after coming off the bench after 15 minutes of Albania's 0-2 defeat to England in Tirana on Sunday. According to Parker, Broja has been out with the team, recovering from a sprained ankle.
" I hope Armando will be available for the weekend. So far everything looks positive. He was on the pitch yesterday, as well as today. We'll see how he reacts tomorrow."
"But at the moment, he looks good. I'm glad it's not an injury that brings concerns, because he's a great player ," Parker said of the Albania striker.
Then the Burnley coach showed that the club has a lot of faith in Broja, so they brought him closer to the team by buying him from Chelsea during the summer.
" We don't have the player on loan, we bought him because we believe that with his qualities he can contribute here for many years ," said Scott Parker.
