Mario Mitaj joined Al Ittihad from Lokomotiv Moscow on loan with the right to buy last summer. It was the sports director of the Arab club, Ramon Planes, who requested the transfer of the Albanian defender.

Mitaj is on loan until the end of the season. Then Al Ittihad club can buy the card of the 21-year-old.
