Spain is facing a wave of criticism after a surprising 0-0 draw against Cape Verde in the first match of Group H, a result that many analysts and sports media are considering as the biggest surprise of the World Cup so far.

On the other hand, for Cape Verde, this remains a historic evening. The African team not only took their first point at a World Cup, but managed to do so against the reigning European champions, writing one of the most important chapters in the country's football history.
