The most decorated former footballer in the history of Albanian football, Osman Mema has passed away at the age of 84, leaving behind a great legacy for Albanian football.

In his career as a footballer, Mema played for both teams of the capital, for Tirana and for Partizan, and won the championship title with both.

Osman Mema was the most decorated football player in our country, while he managed to win the national championship eight times.

Appreciated with the high title "Grand Master", Osman Mema, member of the dynasty of the Mema football family, a family which over the years has produced quality footballers and highly respected people. Osman Mema was a brilliant player, an excellent defender of human dignity, sports, civic and democratic values.
