
The Albanian Football Super League played two of its week 27 matches this Sunday. Tirana was defeated at home by AF Elbasani, while Bylisi achieved an important victory over Vora in Ballsh.
At the “Selman Stërmasi” stadium, Tirana was defeated 0-1 by AF Elbasani, recording their fourth consecutive defeat in the championship. The decisive goal was scored by Ze Gomes in the last minute of the first half.
The match was characterized by tension both in the stands and on the field of play. At the end of the match, there was a clash between the players, while Kobiljar of Tirana was punished with a yellow card.
After this loss, Tirana remains in the penultimate place in the standings with 21 points, facing a difficult situation in the fight for survival. On the other hand, AF Elbasani consolidates second place with 49 points.
Meanwhile, at the “Adush Muça” stadium in Ballsh, Bylisi won 1-0 against Vora. The only goal of the match was scored by Ahmed Adepoju in the 88th minute, giving the team led by Mirel Josa three important points.
With this victory, Bylisi climbs to 27 points and leaves the cold zone of the standings, while Vora drops to eighth place with 26 points.
