An era ends!
Pep Guardiola loses his superstar at Manchester City. Kevin De Bruyne will leave the Premier League club.
His final season in Manchester is underway and will end in the summer - after 10 years with the English team. He announced his departure to City fans with an emotional statement via his social media channels.
"If you see this, you probably understand what it means," says the star midfielder. De Bruyne can be seen in a black and white photo, only his scarf is colored in the club's sky blue color.

Full focus on Man City – that was always the motto during his ten years at the Premier League club.
"I'll get straight to the point and let you all know that these will be my last months as a Manchester City player. It's not easy for me to write this, but as a footballer we all know that this day will come at some point. This day has come - and you deserve to be the first to learn from me. Football has brought me to all of you - and in this city I wouldn't have changed," De Bruyne continued.
The Belgian international has been playing for Manchester since 2015, where he won six championships, two Champions Leagues and the FA Cup.
De Bruyne says that "this city, this club, these people gave me everything. I had no choice but to give it all back and we won everything."
A special thank you also goes to his family:
"Suri, Roma, Mason, Michèle and I are infinitely grateful for what this place means to our family. For all of us, Manchester will always be 'Our Home,'" the Belgian explains.
