Besfort Zeneli has accepted an invitation from the Swedish first team, which will play two friendlies in March. The 22-year-old had previously warned that he would leave Kosovo, while he was unhappy with the treatment of his brother, Arbër Zeneli.

The Albanian midfielder was born in Sweden and has only played there. His good performances for Elfsborg have led Sweden to give him a place in the national team.

We recall that Besfort Zeneli has previously played only for the Kosovo U-21 team. The 22-year-old was a starter in 2023, where he received minutes in 6 matches.
