PSG have caused a surprise that few thought possible, as they eliminated Liverpool in the Champions League. The Slot team, which had finished first in the group stage, has today exited the tournament eliminated thanks to penalties.
After the English team's 1-0 victory in the first leg in France, it was thought that the latter would also win the return match at home, although the Parisians had dominated them. But after a brisk start by the home team, it was the visitors who found the goal with Dembele opening the qualification.

In the quarterfinals, PSG will face the winner of the Aston Villa-Club Brugge tie. The first match between these two teams, played in Belgium, ended with the English team winning 1-3.
