Teuta has returned the smile to the championship, defeating Bylis with a score of 2-1 at the "Niko Dovana" stadium, after five weeks without a win. The challenge held in Durrës was characterized by a high pace and a reversal of the result within the first half.
The Ballshiotët started the match in a very positive way, taking the lead in the 3rd minute. Aurel Marku deflected the ball into the net after a cross coming from a free kick, surprising the home defense and giving the Bylis team the lead.
However, the Durrës team's response was swift. Just two minutes later, in the 5th minute, Daniel Uotlai equalized with a header from a corner kick. The first half ended in a 1-1 draw, with both teams searching for the advantage.
In the second half, the 56th minute proved decisive. After a foul on Ergi Arifi, Teuta won a free kick in a favorable position. Blerim Kotobelli's execution was accurate and the ball ended up in the net, giving the home team the final advantage.
Teuta's captain dedicated the goal to his father, who passed away this week, in an emotional moment for the Durrës-based team.
With this victory, Teuta climbs to 30 points and holds sixth place in the standings. On the other hand, Bylis remains in ninth place with 20 points.
