Levski Sofia has been fined 40,000 euros by UEFA for discriminatory behavior by its fans during the transfer match against Skopje last week. The UEFA report cited "ethnic slurs, political slogans as well as excesses in the stadium section" as the cause.
"Blue" will also be deprived of the right to sell tickets to their fans in the next matches in the European tournaments. In the event of a repeat offence, the Bulgarian Sofia team will be partially banned from their next home match in European competitions.

" Dear supporters, we inform you that the Disciplinary Commission of the European Football Federation has decided on the violations found in the first match of the second preliminary round of the UEFA Conference League 2023/24, FK Shkupi-PFK Levski, dated 27.07.2023 in the Republic of North Macedonia, a fine of 40,000 euros for discriminatory behavior in the stands with supporters of PFK Levski, including ethnic calls and political slogans, as well as excesses in the remote sector.
PFK Levski was banned from selling tickets to its fans for the next match in the European club tournaments. In case of a new violation in the next organization of the team in European club tournaments, the stadium "Vivacom Arena - Georgi Asparuhov" will be partially closed.
We again call on all fans to support the team in the return match against FC Skopje in Sofia on August 3, without any acts of aggression, violence, racism, discrimination, xenophobia and political slogans, as these may lead to further penalties of severe from UEFA ".
