Albanian national team midfielder, Kristjan Asllani, has spoken to Turkish media regarding his future at Besiktas, the club where he was transferred on loan from Inter during the winter transfer window.
The 24-year-old footballer openly expressed his desire to continue his career with the Istanbul team, appreciating the importance of the club and its sporting objectives.
" I came to Besiktas on loan, but I want to stay. This is an important club and they always play to win the championship, just like I want to achieve this. Besiktas has wonderful fans ," said Asllani.
The Albanian midfielder's statement is interpreted as a clear signal of his desire to continue with the black and whites of Istanbul, although his card remains in the ownership of Inter.
The beginning of Asllani's adventure at Beşiktaş was not easy. In his debut match, he was punished with a red card, an episode that affected his start for the Turkish team. However, in the following weeks the midfielder has managed to gain more space and is gradually consolidating as one of the main options in the team's midfield.
In the last match against Galatasaray, Asllani suffered a seemingly serious injury, but fortunately without serious consequences.
Since moving to Turkey, he has made six appearances in all competitions in the Turkish Super League and Turkish Cup, contributing with one assist.
