The rocket attack by Hamas on Israel has provoked the start of the war between the two countries, as the situation gets worse and worse, with the authorities reporting dozens of victims and hundreds of wounded.
Over 5,000 rockets were fired Saturday morning at Israel, as Hamas claimed responsibility for the attack, in what is being described as a spectacular failure of Israeli intelligence services.
Israel is organizing to fight back and bring the situation under control, as Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu declared that the country is officially at war.
Under these conditions, the development of the Israel-Switzerland match, scheduled to be played on the evening of October 12 in Tel Aviv, one of the target cities of the rocket attack, has been called into question.
The Swiss federation has stated that it is in constant contact with its counterparts in Israel and UEFA, which will have the final say on whether or not the match will go ahead.
Obviously, the situation is alarming and under these conditions it is difficult for Israel to take over the organization of the match. It is worth noting that at the moment there is no doubt about the organization of the match between Kosovo and Israel, scheduled to be played on October 15 in Pristina.
